Managed by Legum & Norman, Inc. an Associa company, the Potomac Yard TMPA is a private, non-profit, member-controlled Transportation Management Association (TMA) that is responsible for the ongoing operation and management of effective transportation programs, services and activities on behalf of all the residents, employers, visitors and guests of Potomac Yard – Arlington. Governed by a Board of Directors and funded through the land owners of Potomac Yard – Arlington, the TMPA will implement a Transportation Management Program (TMP) consisting of Transportation Demand Management (TDM) and Transportation System Management (TSM) strategies and tactics with the multiple goals of: 1) reducing the number of single-occupancy vehicles arriving to the site; 2) achieving specified travel mode shares; and 3) providing system performance desired to achieve specific TMP objectives. The specific program objectives are established in conjunction with Arlington County. The site is located in the Jefferson Davis Corridor south of Crystal Drive. It is generally bounded by the Airport Viaduct (Route 233), the George Washington Parkway (the eastern edge of the railway corridor), Four Mile Run and the City of Alexandria, the Jefferson Davis Highway (Route 1) and Crystal Drive. It comprises approximately 49.72 acres. The entire area is divided up into six Land Bays, A through F. Currently, only Land Bays A, E East and F are fully developed.
